Youth at St. Matthew's

Confirmation and Middle School Activities
Grades 6 - 9 / 10

This year, St. Matthew's middle school youth are beginning a two year confirmation cohort. Confirmation will meet each Sunday at 9:15, during the Sunday School hour. At  the end of the cohort, students will have the opportunity to choose to be undergo the rite of Confirmation. No student is expected to be confirmed, but middle school youth of St. Matthew's are invited to fully participate in the course in order to make an informed decision for themselves.

Other Youth Opportunities

Youth at St. Matthew's participate in the full life of the church. They are acolytes, readers, and Godly Play teachers. They are musicians and budding theologians. Throughout the year, youth opportunities include fun gatherings, service gatherings, lock-ins, and retreats with the greater Minnesota Episcopal Church.
